EyeSight Vision Care October 10, 2012 |

What we feed our bodies feeds our eyes. Many of the vitamins and minerals in our bodies are found in much higher concentrations in our eyes, so a diet lacking in these vitamins and minerals can lead to vision problems as we grow older. Take the time every day to give your eyes (and the rest of your body) the nutritive support they need. Eat the foods and take the supplements that provide the antioxidant vitamins and minerals your eyes require. You’ll Protect Your Eyesight, ensuring years of good eye health, and increasing the odds that you’ll avoid blindness or vision loss for the rest of your life. But lately there has not been any activity on this page. Could you please look at this page and contribute someone if you can. Thank You Do You Have a Story That Could help Someone Else? Click Here
Table of ContentsOctober – Super Foods for Better Eyesight While October may be just another month for most of you, kids see it as a long lead up to the best holiday of the year – Halloween. This is one of the few days of the year when they're free to gorge on candy all night long. Some of us adults like to join in now and then, so it seems like a great time to ruin the fun for everyone and talk about the Important Foods for Eye Health that you should be eating to Protect Your Eyesight. Unfortunately, there's no candy that I know of that does anything beneficial for your eyesight, and refined sugar and artificial sweeteners are actually pretty bad for it, so I put together this list of some super-vision foods that you may not have known were good for your eyes.
When you break it down, eating a varied diet with plenty of fruits and vegetables is a great way to hold onto your eyesight well into your senior years.
Remember nothing beats a healthy diet with the right balance of Vitamins and Minerals when it comes to preventing an Eyesight Problem. Your eyes will thank you!
